Australian workers ripped off by Labor
“The Coalition is determined to make Labor accountable for the damage they have inflicted on the Australian workforce through the introduction of its new laws and so on Australia Day I launched my new website, abetz.com.au to encourage workers and small business men and women with concerns about Labor’s so called Fair Work scheme to write to me”.
“Workplace Relations Minister Julia Gillard’s much trumpeted claim that “no working family would be worse off” under Labor’s new Fair Work laws could not be further from the truth”.
“Through the introduction of its new workplace laws, Rudd Labor has betrayed the very people who voted for them in the first place”.
“Labor’s new laws, which Julia Gillard promoted as being designed to deliver “fairness” and prosperity to the Australian workforce, have been exposed as being the very instrument which is now ripping away pay and entitlements from Australian workers,” according to Shadow Employment and Workplace Relations Minister, Senator Eric Abetz.
“Australian workers have every right to feel betrayed by Labor, which promised so much and has delivered the opposite”.
“Thousands of Australian workers, struggling to put food on the table and pay their bills, are now being forced to take massive pay cuts because of Labor’s new workplace scheme.”
“The hardest hit are those Australians who are already battling to survive on low incomes, with reports than many have returned from their Christmas break with their families to discover that due to Labor’s new workplace laws their pay packets have been docked.”
“All information sent to my website, addressing matters of concern with Labor’s new workplace laws, will be treated confidentially.”
