"Today in the Senate Labor sided with the Greens to gag Greens Senator Sarah Hanson Young from explaining herself after she was caught out co-operating with the Commonwealth Ombudsman at Senate Estimates hearings." 

"Whilst it has been well accepted practice that people will from time to time have contact with witnesses at Senate Estimates, the Coalition sought today to have Senator Hanson Young explain the Greens gross hypocrisy on this issue."

 "Two years ago Senator Brown was 'outraged' about similar practices taking place demanding that Senators divulge any contact with witnesses. Today the Greens have been caught out and exposed for doing exactly the same thing - co-operating with Senate witnesses." 

"The Australian people are waking up to the way the Greens do their politics," Senator Abetz said. 

"They are deceptive, dishonest and duplicitous." 

"Their actions today, supported by their Labor Alliance partners, exposes their hypocrisy at the highest level."  

"Hypocrisy - The Greens accepted $1.6m from Wotif founder Graeme Wood, the biggest single political donation in Australian history, but are opposed to corporate political donations." 

"Hypocrisy - The Greens are outraged when a Coalition Senator misses a vote in the Senate, but when Senator Brown gets caught out doing the same thing, that's OK." 

"Hypocrisy - The Greens complain about the standards of Parliamentary behaviour by attacking the sentiments expressed by No Carbon Tax protesters outside Parliament House, but interject during a visit by the President of the United States whilst he is addressing our Parliament." 

"Hypocrisy - Senator Brown condemns his Party's support for the BDS movement under pressure in an interview and then fails to condemn it in the Senate." 

"Hypocrisy - The Greens accept hundred of thousands of dollars from construction unions then move to support the abolition of the Australian Building and Construction Commission but claim they are not influenced by donations." 

"Hypocrisy - The Greens promote themselves as being the great defenders of democracy, but are outraged when the media report on their flaws." 

"The Greens are even hypocritical about being hypocritical," Senator Abetz said. 

"Just this week Senator Hanson Young moved a motion in the Senate bemoaning the fact that Labor and the Coalition had accused each other of hypocrisy - a motion authored the same day she herself accused Labor and the Coalition of being hypocritical - not once - but SIX times." 

"Hypocrisy - Only this week the Greens sought to expound their extreme views on the Carbon TAX then sought to guillotine any debate that exposes them." 

"With Labor supporting the Greens to gag debate on this issue in the Senate today it's a case of "there will be no scrutiny of any Government we lead"." 

"No scrutiny of Labor and no scrutiny of the Greens," Senator Abetz said.

"Labor and the Greens shut down any scrutiny of their job destroying Carbon TAX legislation and now they have shut down any scrutiny which would expose the gross hypocrisy of their Green Alliance partners," Senator Abetz said.
