Tasmanian Liberal Senate Team Support National Archives Australia Presence in Tasmania

Labor's decision to close Tasmania's National Archives Office will mean it is no longer truly National.

Like with the Federal Court Registry and the ABS Labor are arrogantly taking Tasmania for granted and down grading services other states take for granted.

While Mr Rudd can waste over $2 billion on the disastrous pink batt scheme he can't find the few dollars to keep this vital service in Tasmania.

Labor's priorities are wrong and bad public policy.

If we lose this service we will never get it back.

State Labor have been strangely silent on this as has Duncan Kerr MHR - after all those years in Canberra it would be nice if he could at least point to one thing he had achieved  - the saving of the National Archives Office in Tasmania.

For the Tasmanian Liberal Senate Team the best stimulus package would have been to simply maintain our services rather than pay for Labor's reckless spending spree.
