Wilderness Society - Hypocrisy or Governance

“The dramatic exposé of Wilderness Society maladministration, and lack of transparent governance has exposed it's hypocrisy by the barrow load,” according to Senator Eric Abetz.

“Whilst nauseatingly hectoring everyone else for years about integrity, governance and transparency it transpires that Mr Alec Marr and the Wilderness Society were running that campaign behind a cloak of secrecy and lack of due process”.

“The Wilderness Society – the industrial arm of the Australian Greens – needs to come clean”.

“Their hypocrisy is breathtaking,” says Senator Abetz.

“Senator Bob Brown, a former director of the Wilderness Society, and Nick McKim who are always so quick to pass judgement on everyone else's "speck" can now remove the "log" from their own eye.  But we won't be holding our breath”.

“The Wilderness Society has always been shrouded in a cloak of secrecy.  Many people remained silent about their internal machinations because of their misguided commitment to the "causes" of the society.

“It is clear that people who disregard the rules to keep their own power base would have no compunction in bending the truth in their public commentary to help raise money”.
