ABC pushes lefty agenda again

In the latest demonstration of the continuation of the lefty love-in at the ABC’s headquarters, Triple J has issued a survey asking listeners to rate the station’s ‘progressive’ credo.

The survey has been issued to seek views on whether Triple J should move its annual countdown from Australia Day.

“Triple J is a taxpayer funded entity that shouldn’t be wasting taxpayers’ money on this kind of nonsense,” Senator Abetz said today.

“Australia Day is overwhelmingly supported in the Australian community, including by many indigenous leaders, as a day to celebrate our nation being the best in the world and to optimistically look to the future. It is disappointing that the ABC has taken it upon itself to try and push this agenda.”

“It’s further disappointing and quite revealing that the survey asks listeners to state whether they agree that Triple J is “progressive and forward thinking”.”

“It shouldn’t be the business of the national broadcaster to check to see whether they are left-wing enough. I hope the leadership of the ABC will pull Triple J into line on this,” Senator Abetz concluded.
