Federal Labor can’t hide from the Tasmanian Labor/Green Gender Agenda

The latest attempts from Tasmania’s Federal Labor Team to simply remain silent over the radical gender plan being pushed within the Labor Party won’t work.

Despite this issue now going on for months, and the Labor Party’s Federal Conference passing a motion calling on a review of gender on government documents, not a single member of Tasmania’s Federal Labor Team has clearly stated their position.

“This divisive plan that has been pushed by the Tasmanian Labor/Greens alliance has been completely rejected by the Tasmanian people and Tasmanians deserve to know whether the Tasmanian Labor Federal Members and Senators stand with Bec White or with them,” Senator Abetz said.

“It’s not good enough for each of the Labor Members and Senators to go to ground - they must be called out and fully explain their position:

  •          Do they support opting in to having gender on birth certificates?
  •          Do they believe gender should be removed from other government documents?
  •          Will they be advocating to Federal Labor Leader Bill Shorten on behalf of Ms White and Ms O’Connor on this issue?”

“If the silence continues, Tasmanians can only conclude that Tasmania’s Federal Labor representatives would back this nonsense from a position of Government if elected,” Senator Abetz concluded.
